So, I wanted to give the lowdown on last weekend's cheap project:
Three* 1.8 gallon white Bougainvilleas from Lowe's: $9.98 each
One "Homeowners" short garden spade from Lowe's: $15.98
Total project cost: $45.92 plus about two hours of me digging holes on a beautiful, seventy-something degree morning.
*In addition to the one by the coop, I planted two vines at the front of the house. I just couldn't resist after seeing how gorgeous they were just sitting there on the porch, against the white of our exterior walls.
