Cheap Weekend Project: All Cake, No Frosting Please

I took advantage of the 5 day weekend (we're calling it Spring Pause) to start repainting the house's exterior in Behr's bitter chocolate (about $30/gallon at Home Depot).

We first met our house about a year ago, on Spring Break from Gallup. It was love at first sight.

You're so right about this color. It's "Yummy". The colors in the garden do pop against it.

Oh, yeah! This is one of my favorite colors to "modernize" a house. So much impact...it'll make the Chicken Coop House sing.

Thanks! I gotta keep on painting before it gets too hot - and, unfortunately, I spent much of this weekend watching Seasons 1 and 2 Buffy.
